This 9-day Nepal journey offers a perfect mix of cultural discovery and mountain adventure. Start in Kathmandu, exploring UNESCO World Heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square and the most iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, perched atop a hill. These landmarks reveal Nepal’s rich spiritual and artistic heritage.
Fly to Pokhara and drive to Dhampus, a traditional Gurung village known for panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Begin trekking through lush rhododendron and oak forests to Forest Camp, then ascend to Low Camp and High Camp, where breathtaking vistas of Machapuchare (Fishtail) and the Annapurna massif unfold. Reach Mardi Himal Base Camp at 4,500 meters, enjoy close-up views of towering peaks, and descend back to Low Camp.

What Else Do You Need to Know?
No drying rooms are available during the trek, but most tea houses offer covered verandas or common areas where you can hang wet gear to dry.
Dietary needs? We can cater to most food allergies and special diets with advance notice. Please inform us at the time of booking so we can plan accordingly.
Standard accommodation is on a twin-share basis in tea houses. A single (private) room may be available for the entire trek, subject to availability at altitude.
Power outlets are available at most tea houses for charging devices, but availability may vary, especially at higher elevations.
Drones require a permit from the relevant authorities in Nepal before flying. Please coordinate with our team in advance to ensure compliance with local regulations and to respect nearby communities and wildlife.
You may bring your own alcohol, but we kindly ask you to drink responsibly, especially at altitude.
Non-trekkers are welcome to join the trip up to certain points. If you’re accompanying a trekker but not walking the full route, we can arrange suitable alternatives for him/her.

After checking in and taking a moment to rest and refresh, you can explore some of Kathmandu’s key sights at a relaxed pace or simply immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Later, return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure - either unwinding or taking a casual walk around the local area.

Today, you will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which covers approximately 200 kilometers and takes around 25 to 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will meet your guide and be transferred to the vehicle for the Dhampus drop. Dhampus is a traditional Gurung village, set at an elevation of approximately 1,650 meters, and renowned for its panoramic vistas of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
After a scenic drive, start your trek with the first step of the Mardi Himal journey, heading towards the Forest Camp. The hike passes through lush rhododendron and oak forests, providing opportunities to witness diverse flora and fauna unique to the Himalayan ecosystem. It offers occasional clearings with stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

The trail gradually ascends to Low Camp, which is positioned at around 3,050 meters. Low Camp offers the first glimpses of spectacular mountain vistas, including views of Mount Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain). Continue your trek from low camp to High camp, standing at an elevation of 3580m, and typically takes about 2-3 hours to complete.
High Camp is renowned for its panoramic views encompassing the Annapurna Massif, Mardi Himal, and sweeping valleys below. High Camp serves as an ideal place for an overnight stay, offering basic camping facilities and teahouses for trekkers. Tonight, you will stay at one of the local teahouses.

Congratulations! Today, you will trek towards your ultimate destination- Mardi Himal Base Camp. Situated at an altitude of approximately 4,500 meters, it usually takes about 7-8 hours from High Camp. The trek offers panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
Upon reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp, you are rewarded with breathtaking close-up vistas of Mardi Himal and the surrounding peaks. After exploring the Mardi Himal Base Camp, you begin your descent back to Low Camp, where you will spend your night at a tea house.
